some sketchbook stuff I haven't really had time this or last semester to do any drawing for myself. so I'm planning on doing a lot more of that over summer. Planning on doing a bunch of woodcuts too! hopefully it'll all work out and I'll have pieces I like.

I'll most probably be updating both simultaneously, but if you don't want to deal with my blabberyness and just want images I'll probably be less wordy on my tumblr. Plus I think the reblogging thing is pretty cool and I think tumblr has more opportunities in a conversation between people..in some ways. ASK ME QUESTIONS I'LL TRY AND ANSWER THEM.

I'm graduating next friday. it's kind of a weird feeling. I still need to hear back and see if I can do OPT and stay in the states. sick life. thanks.

alright alright alright. YEAAAAAAH. I have a couple of ideas for some new pieces. hopefully I can do summer studios and have a space to work in. I'm going to try and see if I can incorporate some digital aspects to this to maybe speed up the process.. who knows? I'm not a fan with working with textures in photoshop. I'd rather just..do it by hand. but we'll see. fun stuff fun stuff fun stuff!

Just been super swamped with work... actually I still am! good job me!

just a little peek at what I'm doing I guess (I JUST FINISHED IT LIKE 10 MINUTES AGO). Once I've gotten everything scanned in and printed out nicely I'll update with all my portfolio pieces.

Cute Show photos!!

Yaaaay! We did it! Cute show opening was a super success and we all had a blast.

This is a super image heavy post, I tried to pick out the best from the pictures I took but it's still quite a lot.

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the opening cause I forgot my camera upstairs.. and got there half an hour late. whoops.

Cute show was an amazing experience, I'm kind of sad that it was only a one week deal. We advertised the shit out of it. And in true illustration department spirit, set up the show gradually over the week. Which I think helped us a lot as people got super excited that they were seeing new things everyday. I think if we had an extra week we'd probably fill the entire gallery and transform it into some crazy cute land.
